@GodisaDoucheBag Optimists are more likely to survive a risky surgical procedures because the mental attitude of a patient determines if they survive or do not survive once the surgeon has done all they can for the patient. Doctors do not like to operate on pessimists because their survival rate is lower and it lowers the survival rate stats of the hospital and surgeon when they die. Pessimists have a slower, longer recovery rate from an illness & surgery.
