@TescoVee You're right, but check out what I was posting to. I wan't saying that the pistol in the video was an M13 I was pointing out that the pistol in "Die Hard" was an M13. No problem, just poking a little good natured fun at you. Peace!

@panzarw Also, it doesn't really "lock", the gasses escape around the piston's baffles at a rate that probably doesn't make a lot of difference. I guess you'd have to chrono the thing to really know.

@panzarw I know it slightly increases chamber pressure but I don't think it's significant as gasses are also used in the P7 to "float" the empty casing out of the chamber. The chamber is "fluted" for just this purpose and leaves very distinctive marks on the casings because of it.

@MrMZaccone There's no way to tell that as the M8 and M13 have the same slide, the only way to tell is if the shooter unwrapped his hands so we could see the frame.

naw, unfortunately I used to own this pistol but don't any more. The M10 has a taller and thicker slide to help compensate for the increased recoil of the 40 S&W.
