applying wing chun concepts is easy for me. They are not fully trained is why. Once its in you, its in you, and thats how youll naturally fight. Once you have to think about it, youve already lost, and they are going on instinct, while TRYING to apply concepts. Thats not how it works. Its either apply it, or dont.

Not the greatest fight, but definitely a step in the right direction. Applying wing chun concepts isn't as easy as it looks in the drills. My advice is keeps the hands up, your chin down, and don't be afraid to get hit. Instead of all out fighting, try doing some basic drills wearing the helmets and making real contact.

You guys could benefit from proper boxing instruction. And why are you wearing head gear?

By the way, when was the last time we saw WC in a real fight ? I saw some videos from the 50' and it looked more like this video than to the ones where 2 guys are playing the same game...
too bad not to recognise WC "concepts" in actions. Sure it doesn't looks like the "beautiful" chi sao, that we are use to see but remember this is a fight against someone not doing WC, not a "demo". Of course it is understandable not to recognise, since most of the people never saw WC in a fight, only in "demo" with a dummy that is collaborating.
