Clouds is one of difficult for sumi-e to depict. Because sumi-e has no white ink. The most white is the paper color which means draw nothing. So, in sumi-e, shading part is drawn, this is like sculputure process.

  • Very nice. Interesting to see how you control the ink flow with the water and brush positioning. Reminds me of watercolour painting.

    About the video editing: you should avoid cutting/accelerating the parts in which you are actually painting and instead cut the parts where the brush is not on the screen, otherwise it is hard to follow your movements. :)
