    This is so much faster than knitting a big sample that takes much longer! I don't know about you, but  when I get my yarn, can not wait to start the project, not knitting samples! :)

  • Do not pay any any attention to this video, this is all wrong. You need to do a much larger swatch, than this. The reason is accuracy. If you want to be able to wear something and have it look nice you have to take the time and do a larger swatch and place your tape measure in the middle of the fabric. You never, ever measure the sts you have on your needle. Do not take shortcuts, such as these or you'll be unhappy. I'm a beginner knitter, and I even know better than to do this.
