Arm Catalepsy Hypnosis Induction

In this video, Brian David Phillips, hypnotist, demonstrates the arm catalepsy suggestibility effect as converted into an instant induction into hypnosis. The volunteer, Sneh Desai, is a hypnotist trainer and as he is a rather gifted trance partner here, I demonstrated a number of effects with him. This video is part of a series of highlights filmed during various of my Speed Hypnosis Techniques workshops in India from Aug. 30 through Sept. 7, 2008, in a three city teaching tour (Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore). Not to belittle the hypnosis, as I appreciate it and am familiar with various catalepsy inductions, but I giggled when he said "Try harder, Like REAL man!"

And . . . when I say it that way . . . nine out of ten times, the trance partner really does TRY harder and continues to Fail while TRYING.
