------------------
This is a great song to use as a processional, thus explains the reason why the choir sounds so far away in the beginning. They processed around the entire church until the Gloria at the end.

  • @chaoticflame5 to be honest the tempo on this one is more powerful and just simply amazing to listen to and this is close to how my choir sang in the same tempo

  • our advanced womens group at our highschool did a treble arrangement of this piece, and it was amazing, but i have to say i like the mixed better~~it gives it more of a power

  • Eargasm.

  • @rolande135 I've noticed that. As a latinist myself, I find the lack of effort absolutely horrendous. Listen to O Fortuna, then listen to Trans-Siberian's version. It is beyond awful.

  • one of my favorite Christmas performance songs! We sang it every year, and it was always our intro, with full processional at the University Christmas Gala. So powerful!!!

  • My choir is singing this. I hope it's as good as this!

  • Im singing this in school-3

  • Hoggart's is the best version of this song I've ever heard. This is Hoggart's versin just to slow...

Tho I have to say, the latin pronounciation is remarkable. all other versions on here sound like a bunch of hillbillies not even trying to pronounce the latin text correctlly
