Preston Street: Ready for Regeneration

Preston Street was once the top restaurant street in Brighton. Now it's struggling. Green City Councillor Jason Kitcat visits Preston Street and the surrounding area with Angelo Martinoli, chair of the Preston Street Traders Association. Top issues raised by traders were pedestrianisation, making better use of the adjacent Regency Square Car Park and ensuring the i360 tower is developed.

I can not understand how Cllr Kitcat can support the Regenaration of Preston Street, when he himself is working against businesses in other part of Brighton. His lack of business awareness is closing down various shops and this is having a knock on affect local jobs are being lost because of his actions.

@akbar1ntlworldcom Perhaps you could provide more details about the businesses and the area you are referring to? As I've said in response to your comments on my other videos: when a business flouts licensing or planning laws (for example) then I will work to have those enforced, to protect neighbouring businesses and residents.
