@sputnikburan Her name is Rivka Zohar. The group is the 'Israeli Navy Ensemble' (Lehakat Cheil Hayam). Military ensembles have been a very important part of Israeli folklore from the establishment of the state of Israel all the way to the late 70's. Many of the 'stars' of Israeli performing arts culture have started their path by participating in these ensembles as part of their mandatory military service.

Why should it be kheyl or cheil if it is pronounced khayal (soldier)?

Because the word here is not soldier. Kheyl Hayam is the Israeli navy. You are not referring to one soldier but to the whole unit.
