Very cool birds. They dive from up to 30m going up to 60mph to get to small fish up to 30 feet down in the water. Although sometimes they break their neck or when they enter the water they can hit another bird.

The dive is amazing! It is as if they turn themselves into DARTS just before they pierce the surface.

I was fortunate enough to see about 50 gannets plunge into the water looking for fish. It was the most amazing sight I have ever seen from nature. Spectacular !!
