Fatal truck crash I-80 PA mm 44

I filmed this as I was driving east on I-80 in PA. The husband wife team operating this truck didn't survive from what I was told.

It was an old wreck, didn't happen this day. Sometimes they will wait to remove the wreckage until any investigation is complete, insurance people have a look and it is a light traffic day.

@liberalinthedesertaz I don't think you can get a permit to haul 80 tons of load when it is two pieces. The DOT would have the company haul the other one in another truck. You may can get a permit to haul a 40 ton (80,000 pound) freight provided it is one piece. Since the total vehicle weight allowed is 80,000 pounds, 40 ton load would make a truck roughly 32,000 pounds above legal limit which would require a permit, but the law wont let you put 2 of that in a singel truck nor give them permit.

@danomaha420118 Always remember nothing is more important than safety when it comes to trucking. Another thing is I notice most truckers do what other truckers does. Just because they do it does not mean it is right even if you think they have a lot more experience than you. One example of this is not slowing down when it is snowing or foggy.

Sad to see god bless them if they didnt make it. Alot ALOT of idiot people dont understand what trucking is about, Putting your life on the line for asshole dispatchers who dont care about you.. (SOME COMPANYS) . I am just starting a career and im fully aware of what can happen to me at anytime.. But everyones gotta die sometime right? TAKE a minute and thank a trucker sometime..

@Mooncooler1 lolz I was caught in traffic on the PA turnpike during Thanksgiving weekend for 12 hours because a truck hauling rolling steel jackknifed and dropped its load in the middle of the road. It took them 12 hours to open up the road to one lane because they didnt have anything that could pick up the 40 tons of steel that as dumped. There were 2 of them so the weight of the load was 80 tons.

@countrymusicgtavboy2 Exacty right. I often miss good shots because I watch the road and miss the shot. Many videos don't make it here because of poor quality.
