The sound is a bit iffy (my tinpot camcorder too close too piano I think), so don't be too harsh on Tomasz! The concert was very well received, other performances being uploaded presently

Is it just me or does the piano sound horribly out of tune? Could be just the recording..

But seriously, I should not be critical. The performance is great, and this is a difficult piece. Thank you for sharing. I can hear the Hamelin influence in this. I'm glad he performed this, 4candles is totally right.

Oh no, I don't mean to be harsh, it's just my opinion. I have listened to the other movements and overall he did a very good job. The other pieces at this concert are interesting too!

Thanks for uploading this. It's always nice to hear other interpretations of this piece, though I suspect Tomasz was getting a bit tired at this stage? His tempi fluctuate a bit and I'm not altogether sure about his dynamics. But whatever the case, anyone's brave who can take on this piece! How was the concert received?
