The focus of this project is to implement computer vision using web cam and use it within robotics, it include making a working robot using electronic device spare parts such as parts of old printer, Xerox machines etc. then providing vision for the robot using image processing techniques so the robot is able to identify geometrical objects. Project also includes developing a user interface and digital electronic control circuit to interface the robot with personal computer. Using image processing techniques (libraries like OpenCV, EmguCV...) the controlling software is able to recognize objects and its location the processed information is then used to control the robotic arm. By using the robotic arm the user is able to pick a particular object and also able to place the object in a desired box, this process also can be automated for this the user need to tell the type of geometric object and its desired box.
