this is by far the best best BJM song and one of my favorites of all time. when anton and co. played in salt lake city about 8 years ago, me and a buddy were yelling "swallowtail" (like total jackasses) between songs the entire set. and toward the end of the evening after we yelled "swallowtail" yet again, everybody on stage looked at each other and shrugged and then started in on it. they played an 8 min. version that sent me to far off galaxies and then said goodnight. thanks, anton.

God, this gets me extremely emotional. You can just feel with this song. . . You can just really FEEL it. I can assure you that this tune has brought a tear to my eye many times. It's just so brilliant. Really makes me think about all my friends who've passed, just really how fragile life is. Yet it reminds me of love. Anton really just puts his heart and soul into the music, and I thank him for that. It's such a rarity. . .

according to anton its influenced by manchester bands of the late 70s and early 80s like joy division, the chameleons etc I can hear it a mile off.
