So I was minding my own business killing some trolls, when I ran into two people. We decided to team up and kill things together. After heading back to town, and depositing our new found loot in the bank, we decided to head out and see if we could find anything interesting in the wilderness. We decided to go west, as I have never been west of Heart of Eanna. After running in the forest for a while, we found an old abandoned castle.

When we first stepped in, we were startled by a fox that must have been making it its home. It ran away, and we continued to look around. Honestly, I've said it in my other videos too, but this game sets such a mood that simply watching these videos doesn't do it justice. We were a little hesitant to explore because we heard there were orcs around terrorizing the lowbie humans. Either way, we set off, and the entire adventure was exciting and a little nerve wracking at the same time. Honestly, I haven't had this much fun in an MMO in a loooong time - where you can meet random people in the wilderness, group up with them and explore, and they turn into long-term friends.

Remember, I don't dress up my videos with fancy editing or music overtop or anything, I want to show the game for what it is. Keep in mind the graphics aren't the most amazing thing out there, but the gameplay is where this game shines. Its too bad that a majority of gamers have become extremely superficial when it comes to MMOs. However, it backfires... just look at what happened with Aion.

that's one problem with darkfall...if you hang around that castle long enough it should spawn a ghost or some dangerous monster. not often enough to make it a good campable spawn but often enough to scare a few newbies :P

Way too much is "abandoned" in this game :(

Still lots of cool places to explore though.
