Barbara Eden always reminded me of a living Barbie doll...she was and still is stunning.

Thanks so much for posting this episode. Should I dare say I remember the series? While Marilyn's movie character was similar to Barbara's Loco, Marilyn Monroe actually played Pola in the movie version while Betty Grable played Loco. Lauren Bacall was Schatze.

this seems even more funny than the film with Monroe

Congratulations, 'Julia'! You've recalled a daily program even I wasn't aware of...I was too young to remember anything about WNTA before it went off the air at the end of 1961 (re-emerging as WNDT, "the educational channel", in September 1962}.

@fromthesidelines I especially remember when Channel 13 was WNTA-TV, and one of the programs that was broadcast was a show called 'Day Watch' with Richard Wallace and J. Fred Muggs. The show ran from about 9:00 in the morning until about 4:00 in the afternoon.
(Uh-uh, don't figure out my age, LOLOLOL, but if you remember that show, raise your hand).

I love the movie...I had no idea that they made the movie into a tv show

Of course, you should know who played this part in the movie.

Wow, true classics,
Thankyou for uploading.
I love Loco! She's hilarious! :) Barbara did great portraying her.

This series originally aired in syndication between 1957 and '59 {in New York, on WNTA-TV, Channel 13 , then a commercial TV station}. This episode aired on most stations of the "NTA Film Network" (a syndicated corsortium of local stations carrying this series and National Telefilm Associates' repackaged 20th Century-Fox pre-1949 movie library) in February 1958.
