Part 21A - Fourside Department Store

This is the last difficult part of the game, IMO, but it can be hell. Some pointers:

--Gift box enemies can move only in a straight line. You can either dodge them and move on or approach them from behind. If you approach them from behind, you have a guaranteed chance of running away in the first round.

--If you saved before this part of the game, I recommend you reload the game and transfer your best gear and the Franklin Badge from Paula to Ness and Jeff if you haven't already done so. Buy a bunch of Super Bombs and Double Burgers as well, and have Jeff carry at least 1 Big Bottle Rocket for the upcoming boss.

--Your options are pretty limited if you saved without preparing Ness and Jeff. Your best bet may be to go to Dusty Dunes Desert and buy a bunch of Picnic Lunches or order Large Pizzas. Use food to recover after battles to keep everyone's HP near max. See part 21B for a video where I use this strategy:

Normally, I would transfer my best gear and the Franklin Badge from Paula's inventory to Jeff's, but I'm going to play the game like I don't know what's going to happen.


Outline:

2:03 - Go to the 4th floor of the Dept. Store after the lights go out.
3:20 - Defeat the Dept. Store Spook.

My rules for this walkthrough:

1.I don't use Big/Multi Bottle Rockets because I think they make the game too easy. My hope is that not using Bottle Rockets will give you a better sense of what each boss is like and make these videos more interesting.

2.I don't do any level grinding. I'll point out when I think I'm underleveled in the videos.

how do u get psi stuff in that 'B' like symbol??? im about to beat Threed and the everything i have is still that 'D' default form of the psi move....

@TheaBrAmSoN You learn β moves automatically as you level up.

@TheaBrAmSoN Those symbols are greek letters... alpha is the fish-like symbol, Beta's the B-looking one, gamma is the strange loop-like thing, and Omega is the unconnected 'O' with lines at the bottom.

You'll also see Sigma for the shields, that kind of looks like an M on it's side.
