http://wherelincolnleads.com/ The trailer for "Where Lincoln Leads" short documentary by Alexander Borodenkov. This documentary tells the story of the street performers and artists who present their art on the most popular street in Miami Beach - Lincoln Road.
Each one of them has found this street to be the perfect platform to express themselves and entertain locals and visitors with their performance.
In April 2007 the City of Miami Beach decided to put a stop on this form of cultural expression by passing the Street Performers and Art Vendors
Ordinance, prohibiting the artist to perform or sell art on Lincoln road. This restriction represents a violation of the first amendment of the US constitution
granting the right to Freedom of speech. In a society that seems increasingly motivated by external monetary goals the film addresses the chasm between
the yearnings and expressions of the soul through art and the cold hard reality of a consumer driven mindset.

I am a magician, balloon artist, fire eater and fire breather from Ohio. In the next week or so I will be moving to Miami to become a street performer. I have heard of the ban and it was ruled unconstitutional and is appeals right now. I am very interested in seeing the rest of this video, keep up the good work on a great topic.
