That is Don and Vicky Frieburger's land also known as the 9 over 9 cattle ranch.HSUS is being sent their way because they over grazed and the cattle only are left to eat black moldy hay.Most have already died,they claimed they were running 500 head of cattle and now you can only find 76 that are living.HSUS will save the day!These people should be ashamed for destroying the land.Too bad they are so over debted they can not afford to buy more pasture for the remaining 76 cows that are alive.

not the horses fault..its Medunas fault. And partly the BLM and Conrad Burns..they gave him over 200 mustangs almost free..just so he could kill them.

He killed a lot more horses than the 100 or so corpses counted. There were trenches of bones and dry water tanks so not only did horses starve..many died faster with no water. Its as if he wanted them to die faster so he could bury them in the sands.

sunlei5, you just answered your own question. There was nowhere to graze even if they did try to escape. Don't blame the horses, it's not their fault they ended up with a lunatic.

This Jason Meduna took off his shirt and tried to play big bad cowboy. Instead, he was just another idiot who was cruel to horses so he could have an image. So sad. Too many horses on sand dunes with not enough grass to eat. It makes me sick. I hope he spends time in jail. And he asked for donations to committ his crimes. Thank you for bringing this to the public's attention.
