In this artist rendering, the Transition(R) Roadable Aircraft lands at a local airport, converts to its street-legal configuration, and allows the pilot to drive home and park in his garage.

Interesting first step, although it'll be marketed as a light aircraft you happen to be able to drive to and from the airport, rather than a car which flies.
