  • My friend and I are making a dress pattern. We will tape a t shirt to my body to make it fit tight. My friend and I got into an arguement about whether or not I should wear a ba while doing so. She claims that It will be more accurate if I do not wear a bra. HOW? I'm not a A cup, so it WILL make a differance if I do or not! Please help me, she is so stubburn and INSISTS she knows what sh's doing.

  • @peach93cc You should wear whatever you wear normally/whatever you going to wear with the dress so that the pattern will accommodate whatever you have on underneath. If you do the pattern without a bra on then your pattern will prove to be too tight and very uncomfortable once you make the garment and start to wear it.

  • @giuliochris THANK YOU!!! After getting advice from a professional, she will finally realize it!

  • @peach93cc hopefully

  • where is your dress form from?

  • @colormemandy hi! I'm using my touchscreen phone and I hit the thumbs down button accidentally :( anywho, the dressform is a wolf 1968 size 10. The dressform belongs to my roommate; it was here before I was!

  • @simonaris hi there! This is an older comment! Sorry it took me a minute to comment back. Ok those patterns are a little more complicated and they're very detailed. Maybe in the future! Only time will tell

  • Excellent series of videos! Would you perhaps make a video on how to make patterns for other types of garments, such as a dress jacket or for a suit?

  • @TheMusic4me You're welcome

  • @ren13love you're welcome!!
