@willhancock2008 I'd have to disagree with you 100%. There is actually a lot to ground fighting and its actually more about who knows more than you might think. Don't get me wrong though, i'm not one of those MMA douche bags that see no value in sport karate (I'm not saying all MMA people are like that but there definitely are some). I'm actually a point fighter myself but to say point fighting or even full contact kickboxing is an accurate representation of real combat is ridiculous.

@shuriken86 In point sparring and continuous sparring we're taught to control our power when landing blows, and that's why it's so quiet and noone's getting injured. well aside from that dude's knee lol

Daniels is an awesome point fighter & an ok kickboxer.....he shouldn't have transitioned to MMA though in my opinion. The truth is, his fighting style just can't cut it in MMA.....he knew who he was going to fight for his MMA debut and he should've gotten ready for the ground.

ground game is for people with no skills. anyone can get on the ground and wrestle like a punk. getting on the ground is how 99% of fights by people who dont know how to fight do in the real world. there like omg i got no skills and cant punch or kick and im frustrarted so im just gonna charge in a tackle to the ground and hopefully we just cuddle and i dont get hit any more. That is all ground game is and what ground gamers are thinking of. To deny that means you know nothing of fighting.
