@PompeusMagnus I know what you mean mate, I also believe tha tests should be as accurate as possible. Notice though that he isnt trying to show damage capabilities or even measure damage. This is simply displaying the fact that a blows energy can travel through the armour and that the armour does not absorb all damage. Tbh I believe that most these shows are done by very good historians who dumb the shows down too much to make it more simple for the viewers.

@PompeusMagnus no test is perfect. You can argue in real battle his adrenaline would be so high the damage would be much more than seen here

This test doesn't do the damage of a poleaxe justice. Imagine getting a full power hammer strike to the back of the head or base of the spine... That's putting you down most of the time.

Well i mean he was able to do those shock waves by taking a few steps, the guy lying on the ground, with no padded shirt under the breastplate, without him wearing heavy armour for more flexibility... So i think i consider this a Inaccurate test...
