Laparoscopic placement of peritoneal dialysis catheter. The 10 mm trocar is inserted obliquely, creating a channel in the abdominal wall. The suture is placed around the tube to prevent leak and hold the tube until the cuff integrates

  • 2 port only, one umbilical (5) for the scope, and one in the RLQ (more or less McBurney) for the the one through which the catheter goes. Sometimes a third (5) on the left to assist with pelvic placement and suture handling.
