The only scene I've ever seen from Torchwood is the clip of that infamous kiss and the fight that comes after and other than the fact that Spike wasn't omnisexual I'd have to agree given the little bit that I saw -- I've also heard in many interviews and postings by James that although he loves the character of Spike he preferred playing Spike in the beginning when he was a villain. I think that's what he meant when he said the character in torchwood takes the best parts of Spike

well i don't have BBC America so i really can't watch it. but when James did his first gay kiss EVERYONE saw that (my spuffy friends) and but i've never heard his character say any lines. i've just seen him fight so i can agree with the Spike theme. but i also heard that his character will sleep with anything! lol i heard something about a poodle...um....yeah okay. i'm a devoted Spike fan but i support any work that James does so i'm not going to bash. i hear he's doing great on the show too!
