    I remember reading this in a comment on this video a while back.. It might not be true but I found it pretty interesting.

    Someone said that this video is about life, how when we're born we are alone (the guy running by himself in the beginning) and then we meet people, make friends (represented by the guys that are joining him), but in the end we'll end up alone again (they all choose other paths, leaving the guy by himself). Basically, it says that we are born alone and we die alone.
