Apr 28 2007 - Lyon - Bellecour, Vieux Lyon n Part Dieu

Perched on the banks of the twin rivers the Saône and the Rhône is the city of Lyon. Yesterday I had been to downtown Lyon - Bellecour, Vieux Lyon [Old Lyon] and Part Dieu. High fashion in Bellecour, the towering St. Jean Cathedral in Vieux Lyon and the massive mall Galeries Lafayette were the places to see.

great city but yeah that isn't the Galeries Lafayette, it's the whole La part dieu centre commercial.

It's not Galeries lafayette, it's a giant commercial center with 250 shops, the bigger of France !

That's not at all gallery lafayette, it is La part dieu centre commercial!!!! For people living around Lyon, to do big shopping we're going in Part dieu (it's small with many shops) or bellecour when the weather is nice. Oh i miss lyon !!! waiting for to go back in june!!!

I never felt so comfortable as I did when I visited Lyon in summer 2006. It was so peacful, calm, relaxing experience. I stayed with a french old lady to improve my french in the street showed at the beginning of the clip. So emotional to this video.

I studied in Lyon in 1983 so it was pleasant to see your film. I just posted my own 21st anniversary return visit on You Tube - three years after it happened of course!
