give them rupees or sugar they bless you but if you don't they insult and curse you. why is that? i have read up on the hijras and respect their way of life. but i must admit that i don't understand completely. thank you to my anthropology professor that assigned the text " Neither Man Nor Women." the world is full of differences. the sooner we all learn to accept others way of life and not view or own as the only way, we will be better off.

Hey there, funny is not the correct word but interesting. Yes I know about their situation but I am not sure what part of their situation you are asking about. Social oppression,...their place in society, what their social structure is like. I really am glad I had a chance to experience this. It was important to my mother in law that I get their blessings.
