outdoor enclosure for Levi during the daylight hours; he gets to bask on his island and I put black vinyl over the island so he can heat up faster. I plan to put him back inside at night time.

  • a snap-set pool

  • i have a few questions to ask

    is keeping a gator expensive

are they friendly if raised from an early age and wont that get cold outside in winter ??

  • they aren't too expensive and they stay friendly but you have to keep them indoors when its cold so its hard to pull off.

  • alligator enclosure next to a trampoline? you're smart

  • do u just use hose water for them w/ declorinator?

  • um why do u have your trampoline next to its enclosure?

  • wat do u plan to the gator when it gets big?

  • @shortiecanbrawl I don't know man, I've seen some pretty horrible children! :P

I agree that most people are not capable of caring for an adult gator. They're a lot of work and a huge commitment. I just can't stand hearing people talk about what they're going to do with whatever animal when it gets bigger. If a person is not capable of caring for the adult version of a potential pet, he should never even consider purchasing the baby. I reiterate: animals are NOT disposable.

  • @reptileangel Well most people cant care for a full grown adult alligator. If you can, more power to ya. Im sorry that when my baby grows into an adult it doesnt have the capabilites to pull my head off with one twist! Children are much easier to care for than an adult alligator....

  • @shortiecanbrawl Have you found out where you're ditching your chilren when they grow past the cute baby stage? That is a really stupid question, and one I grow very tired of hearing. When a person gets a pet, it is a LIFETIME commitment. Animals are not disposable.

  • @Therapist12345 A healthy alligator will grow roughly six inches per year. They're slow growers, but they get massive.

  • @Meatfortoeat That is complete BS. Every single crocodilian species will continue to grow regardless of their encosure size. They aren't gold fish!!

  • how long does it take for that gator to get big?
