To download an mp3 file of the accompaniment, go to www.steveparkhornmusic.net. This is a fun and lively movement. The end requires a quick double-tongue and finger coordination. The background is a cathedral in Italy. Subscribe! I will be adding more solos on a regular basis. I teach horn at a University and my goal is to create a video library of some of the best horn solos for my students and others. Also let me know if there is something you would like me to record.

  • I LOVE the ending! I sit in front of my computer trying to figure it out! But you the best person I have heard play it! But me being a freshman in high school I made a 1 on it at state. And me also being a freshman and in second band I got the chance to tutor a senior in top band on this piece. But great job.

  • I'm playing this tomorrow for UIL. I never thought to lip trill the C at the end in an Open position. You sound great, and I hope my horn professor next year will be awesome enough to use youtube!

  • I was wondering if you could send me an audio file of the orchestra accompaniment. I really need it for my upcoming solo and ensemble event. I've already memorized the piece, all I need is the orchestra without the horn. Thank you.

  • i love this piece, i fell in love with it when i heard one of my friends playing it.

this year im playing it as my solo this year for band.

  • any advice to double-tongue?

  • I love watching these videos! the pictures are beautiful and you can actually see the technique and everything. I don't play the horn, but man, these Mozart concerts make me want to try (although I'm kind of old for that). Keep up the good work, sir!
