  • This is a good technique that I haven't thought about/seen elsewhere. I'm used to ding open hand techniques for grabs, & this is a very good technique. My only problem is, since the back of the head is open, is there any way that I can hit the back of the head from that position, instead of doing a knee, w/c might be blocked w/ the attackers other hand? Besides, hitting the back of the head is easier since there's no way it can be blocked.

  • Google Rodney King, Crazy Monkey, he talks about slapping the back of the head. Also my other self defense video talks about it to.

In this techinque you can slap the back of the head. I call it playing the drum. Is in the later part of the video

  • the firs move in the beginning is kind of hard.

  • how can I help you, how is it hard. Let me know

  • It looks good but once you elbow some one in the chest they will automatically move back so pulling there head down is not going to happen, I would rather jump guard and get a head lock

  • you can do that in the cage, but on street he will bull frog you

  • @zeerebel

what means "to bull frog"?? I ain't a native english speaker..

  • thats called the keysi deek in kfm the rhino in krav maga and wedging in silat, its a very good technique but the knee's are just over complicating things. its much better to get a handle and drive in some elbows or crank his neck for a takedown although the 3 point cover as it is called here can be a fight finisher in its self escially if you drill it hard on a kick should to develope real power.

  • Thanks =D! What I meant was, hitting the back of the head hard, not just slapping it, since you want to KO him right away w/ multiple opponents coming at you. I'll find those people you said. Thanks again =)

  • you point the elbow tip toward your nose, don't put the arm in front of your face.

There are many variations of this cover.

John B Will in one of the issue of Black Belt Magazine showed several other variations
