Ron Paul backer: "You would never hear of a 'former' Ron Paul supporter"

On Tuesday, Florida is holding its primaries where Floridians will take to the polls to voice who will best represent the Republican Party. Although Mitt Romney is the GOP favorite, Ron Paul refuses to go away and many feel he is taking votes away from the other candidate. But now some conservatives are saying enough is enough and are asking Ron Paul to remove himself from the race. A petition has started an attempt to make this happen, but many argue that's what votes are for. Mary Willison, a Ron Paul supporter and volunteer organizer, joins us to give us her take on the petition.

.....saying they're the reason Obama will win is really giving them way way too much credit. They don't matter. They didn't matter in 2008, they didn't matter when Harry Browne was the Libertarian candidate way back when, and they don't matter now. I know ONE former Ron Paul supporter, and that's because they support Gary Johnson, which in my opinion, should be Ron Paul's Vice if it comes to it. :) If the Republican Party doesn't accept Dr Paul as their candidate, then I will write him in. I hope he does go independent if that happens though. The country is divided because they don't know what to do, and the mainstream media is trying to get us to go Romney or Obama, and I refuse to fall for it.

Good interview; I think the Ron Paul supporter made it very clear that Ron Paul supporters care about understanding and resolving the country's issues. She also made it clear that our vote is not for sale, not because we are so stubborn, but because none of the other candidates seem to understand the real issues at stake in this country right now. The best thing we can do to convince other voters is to tell them to research the issues online, and they will see that Ron Paul is the only hope.
