  • I'm 68. Use internet for news (including following favored newspapers on Twitter). No TV. Even for local. Get local on internet.

Question: Is the movement of women into prominence in a work area signal its decline in importance? Not because of the women, but because the employers put women in when the decline is already in progress.

  • Diane Sawyer might be old enough to collect social security....but I would do her.

  • I watch the evening news on ABC every night and I'm under 40. I am, however, the only person I know who watches the evening news. Unfortunately, everyone else I know either watches Fox News or MSNBC. I do like some of the people on MSNBC, but they focus too much on politics and not enough on other stories of interest. Fox is just GOP TV. I tell some of my friends who watch Fox a fact, such as Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and they think I'm insane. But evening news constantly outperforms cable.

  • Yeah, ain't it the truth.. why can't this UGLY and plastic old bag just go away. As little as I've seen her, she turns my stomach with those poses.

  • NBC NEWS FTW !

  • The last time I watched "the evening news" was when I had just moved to a new apartment and had no cable or internet connection. Worst 2 weeks of my life.

  • haha i LOVE when Cenk does impressions of his dad.

  • seriously, she is a self-centered bitch

  • Like so true and yeah who cares . Oh well ..Right lol :o)

  • who cares about that bitch!

  • i agree, today the network evening news is nothing more than the top "glamour" (sic) stories of the day. news specials promote blood & guts stories only!

networks haven't the time or desire to delve into hard news stories, so america isn't well served by them!

fake, meaningless "reality" shows make money, so helping americans become well inhformed, contributing citizens is not a priority for the networks. making higher profits for their rich stock holders is!

    profit trumps freedom.

  • Very good point. and unfortunately.. yeah, it might...
