  • At present my spring plates are manufactured for swing axle VWs. This covers all VWs up to 1968, I believe. So the short answer is yes my plates take care of the alignment (or toe in) for older models. That is to say my plates are calculated for proper toe in at deviated heights as well as provide a greater range of adjustability for toe in. After installation the vehicle should be aligned on an alignment rack by a professional.
