From the early 1970s through the 1990s, Jarnow made films for various Children's Television Workshop programs including 3-2-1 Contact, Electric Company, and Sesame Street, as well as a variety of other experimental projects. He is a painter, educator, museum designer, and software developer.

    This is one of the few classic educational clips that left a very lasting impression in my life. The images of cities rising and falling and then the final "sentinal" object in the distance stayed in my mind to this day. This should be remade using todays CGI to impress upon a new generation the passage of time, and how humanity is but a tiny ripple in something much more grander than could be conceived but admired if ever so slightly through the passage of time.
