@devulboy1 Most stations in Central time get a tape delayed Today show which at the time ran from 7-9am local time. 6-7 pm is typically news followed by a half hour syndicated show.
You forgot the Today show (7AM or 6AM being a Central time station), the newscast 5PM and evening news 5:30PM. Prime time may well been 7 to 10PM, ends with newscast and the Tonight show. I got it covered (LoL). How did they fill the voids between 8-9AM and 6-7PM? Local programs or syndicated shows? Oh well, pre-1990's TV schedule when it goes on and off the air, not 24/7 hours a day with 8 hours to kill by airing informercials (or being Oklahoma: televangelist church shows). +
KTVY/NBC daytime lineup from 1986: 9AM - AM Oklahoma 10AM - Family Ties 10:30AM - Sale of the Century 11AM - Wheel of Fortune 11:30AM - Scrabble News 4 Oklahoma at Noon 12:30PM - Search for Tomorrow 1PM - Days of Our Lives 2PM - Another World 3PM - Santa Barbara 4PM - Super Password

I remember when 'Dannysday' was on @ 11:30 am. Matter of fact, it went off the air in 1984.
