  • Bad mix - band too far back - voice too far forward. This one's for "ladies only"...not for grandma, though. Pendergrass get back.

  • @ensconse This is perfect, and its a LIVE Recording :P

  • Damn , I bought it when it first came out and didn't know the Mix was that bad , thanks , I'll throw it out thanks to your great observations , my bad for playing it 500 , 600 times . Thanks I needed that intervention .. HEY MOFO you're lucky we all belong in the James Brown Fan Club , cause the main reason why Like this album is ...watch see is what you get , hit me.

And if I got any hint that you liked Justin Beiber after that comment , oooh , the can of woop ass would have com out .

  • Yeah, the Paris gig is a more soulful experience, even if JB's throat is a little raw. I love that "complete" experience - REVOLUTION was pieced together. Both CDs have technical isues, though. as I've said 500 times, I'm still stunned that Universal does not remix those 1970 and 1971 live albums. Esp. considering how they have been sampled.

  • @ensconse If you don't already have it, the "Love Power Peace" live album has a better mix, but the song is shorter.

  • @trademark1874 "Congratulations"? :)

(great song by the early Stones)

  • @trademark1874 Disagree about the mix - the whole album needs a remix-makeover. I bought the double-album back in '71/'72. Thanks.

  • that bass line hurts
