  • i dont know that he is saying being misunderstood is a beautiful thing, but more that it is an inescapable thing, if you choose to follow your own mind, Because you will eventually find your thoughts opposed to the fashionable outlook. But it takes conviction to know you are right when the world knows otherwise.

  • @knowledge0934 you might be correct. I'll have to re-ponder it. I love your last line. "it takes conviction to know you are right when the world knows otherwise." it also takes courage to authentically entertain the notion that our own view of reality could be completely wrong.
