  • THos e Deutz medium speed engines. Notice the tach only goes to 1200rpm max.

    MTU's usually run at 1800 at the slowest 1500 rpm, these Deutz for example are usually 1000rpm max

  • Engines are on the largest container ships - Emma Maersk has the 14 cylinder version! Tugboat here is an MTU 4000 - 3000hp

  • These are c1998 MTU/DDC Series 4000 16V diesels manufactured at DDC Redford MI Plant

  • Just big.. not Gigantic... THESE Are gigantic

    Bore:38inches, Stroke:98 inches. 1820 LITERS PER CYLINDER, 6-14 cylinders.. THATS GIGANTIC
