Timothy Prestero thought he'd designed the perfect incubator for newborns in the developing world -- but his team learned a hard lesson when it failed to go into production. A manifesto on the importance of designing for real-world use, rather than accolades. (Filmed at TEDxBoston.)

That guy is exposing his opinion in the subject, not dictating anything. Same way you are exposing yours, and no one is comparing you to Nazis.
It's easy to talk crap over the internet about how it should be done, not so easy exposing the idea to the world to criticism in order to see see if it would be accepted, and it is hard as hell to make anything work. The point is, he is trying something. Everything starts with an idea and he is exposing it. What have you done?

Yes, this point was made before. However, since the babies are newborn, swaddling might be appropriate.

Business tries to make as much money of old design before the sale the new products. Like cell phones. The old technology is given to you with a contract at a lower price. It's like the evolution of insects.

Sorry, but how useful would be something the baby could take off just by wriggling a bit?

How typically ted. Instead of playing host to deeper philosophical/theoretical thinking, go with the happy-go-lucky preachers.
