how to run faster, piss of chuck norris..

There no love like that among those who share the same pain together every single day. I love my cross country teammates ♥

@cicirunner I've been fighting injuries so any more PRs this season are out of the question, but my second race of the season I ran my fastest 8K in 27:26. Had I not gotten injured I'm very confident that I would have a PR in the 26s.

@SWCCandTF What are you running your 8Ks in now?
-
@Charlieboy19424 Will you be my coach?

Better than the other guy's advice!

Im starting my summer training right now. ( Starting the races and all that fun stuff when school starts back up) We start off at a walking pace, its a jog/run formation but at walking pace. If that makes since? We have been running 1 week 3-4 miles a day. He is right 100% it is all mental. If you say you cant do it. You cant.

how to think like a real xc runner?
usually we are very very masochistic
and bully the runners who are weak willed and tell them how they have no balls
and that if they wuss out in a race or practice they might as well go get a
castration surgery and suck dicks!!

I do cross and track; I'm a 4:30 miler (looking forward to dropping more time in track) and in the 16s for 5K, although now I'm a freshmen in college so its 8K for cross. I just want to say that except for locating the mile/Km markers on a course to create a visual map, and constant positive reinforcement, EXPERT VILLAGE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT REAL CROSS!

@xcstarr great job man! thats really fast
"Slow down a little bit??"
..that's the first step to walking.
If you're feeling tired, go faster.
If you're about to die, go faster and die at the finish. :)
