R600 voltage regulator "Shtil" R600 single-phase AC voltage regulator is one of "Shtil" R line of stabilizers. Structurally R 600 stabilizer is designed as a desktop unit with an indication panel and a power switch on the front. An automatic fuse is located on the rear panel. There is a cable with a European standard plug for connection to the network. The stabilizer is designed for protection of home, office and industrial equipment with total electrical power not exceeding 600 W. These are televisions, computers, fax machines, office automatic telephone systems and more. Structural features of R600 stabilizer are as follows: a desktop housing, a toroidal power compensator, dual load protection from emergency high input voltage, automatic shutdown of the autotransformer from the network while input voltage is increasing 300 V, followed by automatic switching on when the voltage drops to a safe level; discrete (stepwise) regulation of the output voltage; wide input voltage range; high overload capacity; relay power switches; high speed performance; electronic protection against short circuit and overload with automatic shutdown; the stabilizer potential to operate at the stated load capacity within the entire limiting range of input voltage; the output filter of high-frequency network interference. Finally, we connect a 100 W bulb as an example of the load. Additional loads up to 500 W are available in this case without overload protection. Now in order to check the overload and protection activation of the voltage regulator we will apply a load higher than the installation load in the stabilizer. Now we will check the stabilizer operation for overload and protection activation. Connect the increased load that does not meet this one. Power vacuum is equal to 1 thousand watt. In this case the protection of the input voltage has been activated.
