  • WOW. Cirrus and Columbia eat your hearts out :p

Diamond is an Austrian company by the way, yes with a Canadian division that manufactures the DA20-C1 in Canada.

  • Diamond is an Austrian company I believe, but they have a North American division located in London, Ontario.

  • with every new model of Diamond the planes get uglyer! A high performance Single has not just to have a big engine - it needs to be sexy on the ramp and in the air. Take a look at the Mooney's :-)

  • Looks cool but 200 knots for a single piston doesn't compare to the Cessna corvalis tt or the mooney acclaim type s which goes 242 knots.

  • this is like wow

  • fadec is amazing my 42 has it onboard and i love it when i got alot going on..i have a 40 aswell i dont mind having pitch and mixture controls to me its all the same..diamond makes good airplanes..cirrus is a good plane but they are the new doctor killers..as far as spin recovery as the guy stated earlier i dont see how it didnt pass the cert...they are easy to bring out of a spin hell they are hard to get there to begin with.

  • FADEC is discouraging me from looking forward to this. I would of rent it as a luxury leisure flight across the country because of the features but now that's just ridiculous and it's going to discourage many buyers as well.

  • @Thefeed I couldn't agree more. Fadec for a Jet, that is about reducing task loading on a difficult aircraft but at 200 KTAS, come on. WHats hard about doing the pitch and mixture your self. Thats like needing an automatic vehicle because you don't don't know how to change gears. Get some training and fly the aircraft properly.

  • 2:23 haha YOU WANNA GO???

  • ...so I guess since it has a built in chute, it couldn't pass the spin recovery part of certification????

  • FADEC is for pussies. Great lookin plane though...

  • usaero has an estimated price of $650,000 (USD) for the SuperStar version....dunno if that's accurate. This plane is totally sweet...
