The wing keeps the front end on the ground. If I had no wing, the car would wheelie and I'd have a bunch of broken parts

Toe in provides straight line stability, but it may cause some loss in speed due to more rolling resistance. I took the trade off because I'd take the loss in speed so I won't have a car that loses control and crashes!
Also, no, neither the quark or motor were rated for 4s. Quarks are outdated, look at picking up a Castle sidewinder micro and add your own heatsink, or just buy the mamba micro pro.
