As a Sports Reporter, I am often asked "who is my favorite athlete." Without question it is Jim Kurtz, my father. He won a gold medal as a Triathlete in the National Transplant Games in 2006. Two years later, he died of cancer (June 28th, 2008). Here is a video I edited for my dad after winning the gold medal. I am posting this video exactly two years after his death. It's the first time I've watched it since he died. It brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. I miss you dad every day! You are my inspiration in life and will always be my favorite athlete!
