@Weezy10580 Honestly I think today's NASCAR fans are way too harsh on ALL the drivers. Seems like most of the fans don't watch for the racing, they watch for the judging of drivers as if it's a reality show. Think it's time for the fans to rid themselves of their addiction to focusing on the negatives.
by the way Jeff Gordon wrecked left and right in his first 2 or 3 seasons. He won a couple in '94 but still wrecked a lot. Everyone wrote him off until 1995.

@IronStackz 9 out of 10 drivers do the same thing. It's just a matter of who says it on TV. Complaining doesn't equal no talent. You should have heard how many times Earnhardt Sr would whine about shit that was his own fault before he finally got rid of most of his arrogance. Yet he went from the most hated driver in NASCAR to the most loved driver in NASCAR.

@Weezy10580 not necessarily. Just got brought up to the Cup Series way too fast. Plus Denny and Kyle get the top equipment at Gibbs at the moment. Maybe after this season they'll give Joey some of Denny's cars instead.
One thing about Joey is he is not all that strong physically which is another thing I think is holding him back right now.

@Weezy10580 if you've been around the short tracks like I have to see him race, you would never say this. It's not like Joey just walked into Cup racing without a very proven backround.

@Chargerdaytona69 Evernham didn't ruin his career. Evernham got screwed over and had to basically ditch his efforts, which in return screwed over the drivers who were driving for him. In fact, Evernham just this year stopped paying the price for all that bullshit.
