2010 Short Course Showdown Mod 2WD A-Main

There's no doubt that Short Course truck racing has revitalized RC racing all around the country, and nearly 250 drivers headed to S&N's Trackside Hobbies in Brookfield, WI to compete in the first ever Short Course Showdown. With manufacturer support from HPI Racing, Team Associated, Traxxas, Thunder Power Batteries, Dynamite, Spektrum along with support from RC Car Action, RC Driver and RC Car magazines there was no lack of support for this event. We were on hand to cover and participate in the event from bell to bell. This video covers the 2wd Modified A-Main. Kyosho's Jared Tebo dominated qualifying all weekend to take the TQ position, however Team Associated's Scott Brown, Chad Due and Brandon Rhode all had extremely fast trucks.

what motor do guys run in mod short course because i go to ocrc if u have heard of it and i had to strip my truck to build my b4 but im trying to rebuild and my set up is propablly gonna be an lrp competition sxx and an lrp x12 8.5

@FLUFFINATORofCA I've run at OCRC, I was there about a month before this race in fact. I think I ran a 9.5 in Mod SC there.

What motor and esc's are they using?

@Kingbiker96 I know the Kyosho guys were running the Orion sensored systems, Associated guys were using LRP gear. I don't know if anyone was running anything else in Mod.
