  • I have tried to enter '2x^4 - 21x^2 + 58' and it doesn't work either.

  • @VoiAffascinante hm! is your book referring f . g as f (g(x)) or f * g? Composite means f (g(x)) and f * g is simply 'f times g'.

  • I entered this answer in my WebAssign homework, and it said it was incorrect. Have tried several times. Not sure what is going on. (2x^4 - 21x^2 + 138)

  • @VoiAffascinante the last term should be '58' not 138. I copied one of the terms wrong. MathDoc
