Hungary's Peter Besenyei, arguably one of the most famous pilots of his generation, has won many awards in flying -- but one still eludes him: the Red Bull Air Race World Series. With two second place finishes overall (2005 and 2006) and third place last season, Besenyei might be one of the most consistent pilots in the history of the race. But it bugs him that he has not yet won the Red Bull Air Race World Series.

i've wanted to become a pilot since i was 3 and iv never let it go now im 14 and i fly some gliders but i just want to feel some g's Peter besenyei isn't just a my mentor but he is a fellow countryman.

I have insanely huge respect for this guy. Exceptional pilot and a seemingly nice bloke. Isn't cocky or big headed despite his achievements.
An absolute Idol.
