any decrease in battery life and have you calibrated it since the 2nd ssd? i just ordered a 120GB intel 320 series sata II ssd with my data doubler on my 15" 2.2 MBP. for my booting SSD it is the 120GB from apple.
(anti glare as well so much better!)

@zammie Haha! Thanks, because i'm replacing my hard drive with a 500GB one and then my optical drive with a 250GB one and then if i RAID...BOOM 750GB ^^

I expecting faster boot... I wish there was like a boot that was as fast as the instant on feature... maybe in 20 years
-
I only wish…

This was actually done on OS X 10.5.
Now with 64bit snow leopard, it might even be faster!

Interesting.

I did, just at the writing.

Battery life has been good. Keep in mind SSD uses a lot less electricity and doesn't generate as much heat so this mean less fans to run.

@MrPekosTech
For sure. That's the whole ideal. Dual SSD RAID much faster than single drives. Any RAID is always faster. Check out OWC's for that adapter kit we used. Also, we're now on OS X Lion and that system is even faster. Lion improved the ability to communicate with SSD more effectively = a faster day and at the beach sooner!

I wish I would have video'ed the process of installing the hard drives, but I was more focused on opening the mac up and not hosing up the system! It was brand new and as you know, not cheap! We did a RAID 0. Not too sure on the whole warranty thing, but if something every went wrong, I would certainly put back the original parts before dropping it off at the Apple Store. This was the first Unibody I've opened it. The battery was screwed down inside and you'll need a Tri-Wing Driver tool!
